Candice Michelle believes AJ Styles will eventually make an appearance in TNA, pointing to his deep connection to the company as the reason she expects it to happen sooner or later.
Speaking on Battleground Podcast, Michelle — who now works as a backstage agent for TNA — described an awkward first meeting with Styles when she mistakenly assumed they had met before.
“Actually, I thought I had met him before when I saw him backstage on TNA when we launched on AMC. I was like, ‘Oh, hi AJ.’ He was like, ‘Who are you?’ I was like, ‘Oh, Candice Michelle. Nice to meet you.’ Like, I forgot we really haven’t been on the same roster together. But from what I know of him and the way that he’s spoken about, this was a big part of his heart and building this. So I would imagine that at some point, when he’s ready, that he would make an appearance. I mean, why wouldn’t you?”
Styles appeared at TNA’s AMC premiere on January 15 and has spoken warmly about his time building the company. He has not been confirmed for any future TNA appearances.
