Becky Lynch ran into Peter Rosenberg while sightseeing at the Vatican during WWE’s European tour, posting a video of the encounter and venting her frustration on social media.
Lynch spotted Rosenberg walking through the tourist area with a backpack as she was filming herself in the crowd. She turned to the camera, visibly shocked, and said “What are you doing here?” Rosenberg briefly smiled at her and slipped out of frame without a word.
Lynch posted on X: “MY ITALIAN VACATION IS RUINED!!!! I CANT EVEN ENJOY THE VATICAN!!!!! AND WHAT IS ROTTEN ROSENBERG DOING HERE?!!!!!!!! @Rosenbergradio.”
The two have had a running rivalry since Survivor Series: WarGames, which escalated when Lynch had Rosenberg removed from the arena after her Women’s Intercontinental Championship win over Maxxine Dupri on the January 5 Raw. Lynch lost that title to Sol Ruca at Clash in Italy on Sunday.
