WWE has active interest in reuniting Enzo Amore and Big Bill — formerly Big Cass — as a tag team, with WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reporting the company has maintained backstage relationships with both men through multiple producers who worked with the duo during their original NXT and Raw runs.
The report follows False Finish’s disclosure that Amore has been at the WWE Performance Center recently, including on the day of Tuesday’s NXT broadcast. Self Made PW separately noted that WWE has made recent contact with Amore.
Big Bill’s AEW contract is believed to be expiring at the end of May or the start of June, per Fightful Select’s April report. He has wrestled only twice for AEW in 2026, with his last match coming in a February parking lot street fight on Collision.
Enzo and Cass were one of the most popular tag teams on the WWE main roster in the mid-2010s, winning the NXT Tag Team Championship during their developmental run. They split in 2017 when Big Cass turned on Amore on Raw. Cass was released by WWE in June 2018 and joined AEW in 2024 as Big Bill. Amore was released in January 2018 following sexual assault allegations; an investigation was subsequently closed with no charges filed. No return has been confirmed by WWE.
