Update On LA Knight’s Status Following Absence From WWE Television

Fans have been clamoring for the return of “The Megastar” ever since he was brutally written off television last month. LA Knight has not been seen on WWE programming since the December 8, 2025, episode of Raw, where he was defeated by Logan Paul and subsequently destroyed by The Vision. The angle saw Knight dragged backstage and planted with a Tsunami by Bronson Reed on top of an SUV, leaving his status in question for weeks.

LA Knight Expected In Saudi Arabia For Royal Rumble

Initially, there were reports that Knight was brought to Germany for the January 12 taping of Raw in Düsseldorf, but he never appeared for the live crowd or the television audience. However, a new update from Fightful Select suggests that the wait is finally over. According to the report, Knight was scheduled to travel to Saudi Arabia as of earlier this month, placing him in Riyadh for this weekend’s festivities.

The report also noted a specific detail that all but confirms his participation: “decorations” at the venue imply he will be there. Recent fan photos from the construction site at the King Abdullah Financial District have shown massive props, including a large “YEAH!” sign, further fueling speculation that Knight will be a surprise entrant in the 30-man match. Interestingly, during his WWE hiatus, Knight also appeared in a commercial with Ric Flair that aired during TNA iMPACT’s debut on AMC on January 15, keeping his face fresh in the minds of wrestling fans.

With WWE’s Saudi Arabia tour kicking off with SmackDown tomorrow night in Riyadh, followed by the 39th annual Royal Rumble on Saturday, the stage is set for The Megastar to make a thunderous return.
