With just hours to go before SmackDown and the Royal Rumble, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque took to social media to hype up the venue. In a video posted to Twitter, Triple H showed off the completed custom-built arena in Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District, marveling at the speed and scale of the construction.
“Not bad for a month,” Levesque said in the video. “When you see the initial concepts of it, it’s really hard to picture the size and scope… It’s hard to picture that this was like a dirt, strip of dirt a month ago. From that to this, it’s crazy.” He pointed out the stunning backdrop of the city behind the arena and promised that the event would be a “spectacle.” With the stage set for two nights of action, Triple H concluded with a simple promise: “It’s going to be epic.”
