The “EST of WWE” appears ready to reclaim her spot at the top of the mountain. According to a new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bianca Belair is nearing a return to the ring, with internal belief pointing toward a surprise appearance at tomorrow’s Royal Rumble in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Belair has been out of action since the spring due to a finger injury suffered during a Triple Threat match against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41. The report indicates that her recovery is almost complete and that she is believed to be close to cleared for in-ring action. Specifically, the Observer noted she “should be ready” for the pay-per-view event. Belair last appeared on television in July as a special guest referee at WWE Evolution, but has not competed in a match for months.
The betting markets have reacted swiftly to the news, listing Belair with some of the strongest odds to win the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Given WWE’s tradition of using the Rumble for major returns, a comeback for Belair could immediately reshape the title picture heading into WrestleMania 42. If she does enter the match, she will instantly become one of the favorites to punch her ticket to Las Vegas.
