“I Trust Her”: Iyo Sky On Why Her Team With Rhea Ripley Works So Well

The duo of Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky has dominated the women’s tag team division, but their success stems from more than just individual talent. According to Sky, it comes down to deep mutual trust and respect. In a new interview, Sky reciprocated recent praise from Ripley, explaining why their contrasting styles mesh so perfectly in the ring.

“She Is A Total Package”

“I respect her so much. She’s such a big star. She’s a total package,” Sky told Denise Salcedo. She elaborated on their physical chemistry, noting that they can hit each other hard because they trust the other can take it. “I hit her strong and then I know she will get up [from] my elbow, and she knows I will get up even [though] she hit me strong. So that’s why we could make great chemistry in the ring.” With both women operating at the peak of their powers, their reign as champions shows no signs of slowing down.
