Updated Card For WWE Elimination Chamber In Chicago

The card for WWE Elimination Chamber is officially taking shape, and the road to WrestleMania 42 runs directly through the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. On Saturday, February 28, the company will present one of its most dangerous signature events, featuring high-stakes championship bouts and the unforgiving steel structure that has altered the careers of many superstars. With the event taking place in his hometown, CM Punk is set to headline the show in a blockbuster World Heavyweight Championship defense against Finn Balor. The match, which was reportedly requested by Punk himself, pits two of the industry’s most decorated veterans against one another with the top prize on Raw at stake.

In addition to the main event, two Elimination Chamber matches have been confirmed to determine world title challengers for WrestleMania 42. On the men’s side, a star-studded field is forming for a shot at the WWE Championship. Randy Orton, LA Knight, and Cody Rhodes have already punched their tickets to the demonic structure, leaving three spots open for the remaining contenders. The winner of this grueling contest will go on to face the WWE Champion—currently Drew McIntyre—in Las Vegas. The inclusion of Rhodes, who recently qualified on SmackDown despite interference from McIntyre, adds a layer of intrigue as he looks to finish his story once and for all.

The women’s division will also take center stage inside the Chamber. Tiffany Stratton, Rhea Ripley, and Alexa Bliss have been announced as the first three entrants in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. The winner will earn a guaranteed world championship opportunity at WrestleMania. With three spots still To Be Determined, speculation is running rampant regarding who will fill the remaining pods. Elsewhere on the card, a highly anticipated “dream match” for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship is set, as Becky Lynch defends her title against the returning AJ Lee. This bout marks a clash of generations and styles that fans have clamored for since Lee’s return to the company.

The remaining participants for both Chamber matches are expected to be determined over the next two weeks of television. With qualifying matches slated for upcoming episodes of Raw and SmackDown, the final lineup remains in flux. Notably, the ongoing situation with Bron Breakker—who was originally rumored for a major WrestleMania spot—has left a void that could be filled by another rising star in the men’s Chamber match. As the final stop before Las Vegas, Elimination Chamber promises to reshape the entire landscape of the “Showcase of the Immortals.”
