WWE Fans React Negatively To Jey Uso’s Television Victory

Jey Uso officially secured the final spot in the 2026 Men’s Elimination Chamber match on the February 23 episode of WWE RAW. The popular babyface defeated Bronson Reed and El Grande Americano in a triple threat match to qualify for the upcoming premium live event. However, the online reaction to his latest television victory tells a very different story for the established star.

After the television broadcast ended, WWE uploaded the match highlight to its official YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/wwe. What followed was a ton of immediate backlash from a vocal segment of the audience. At the time of writing, the video showing Uso qualifying for the chamber has drawn exactly 163,000 views.

Despite the high view count, the overall engagement numbers are incredibly lopsided. The digital clip is currently sitting at a 72.6 percent dislike ratio. It has received over 14,000 dislikes compared to just 5,300 likes from the viewing public. This negative feedback trend is catching the attention of many industry observers.

That specific ratio paints a clear picture of how a significant portion of the online audience is responding to his latest push. The RAW match itself saw Uso capitalize after Reed appeared legitimately injured mid-bout. Following a brief pause where the assigned referee checked on Reed, the match quickly continued without him.

Uso connected with his signature splash on El Grande Americano to secure the win and punch his ticket to the steel structure. On paper, it was a straightforward qualification victory for the former champion. However, the lopsided YouTube numbers clearly show lingering frustration among everyday viewers regarding his constant main event presence.

Some WWE fans have not forgotten the strong reactions that followed his previous championship runs. Uso walked out of WrestleMania 41 as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion last year. He also faced severe criticism when he received another world title opportunity against CM Punk shortly after that initial reign ended.

The current dislike surge made it clear that skepticism toward his positioning near the top of the card may still be very much alive today. While YouTube metrics do not always represent the entire fanbase, a 72.6 percent dislike ratio on an official WWE upload is difficult to completely ignore. The company will have to carefully navigate this digital response as the road to Las Vegas continues.

Uso will look to silence his online critics as he heads into the Elimination Chamber premium live event. The grueling show will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, streaming live from the historic United Center in Chicago, Illinois. He will step inside the unforgiving steel construct to battle Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Je’Von Evans, and Trick Williams. The ultimate winner of this brutal contest will advance to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42.
