AEW Collision Results (3/28/26): Okada Retains, Babes of Wrath Split

AEW Collision results are in.

AEW Collision aired its March 28 episode from the Alliant Energy Power House in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on TNT and HBO Max, delivering a loaded card that included two championship matches, a major tag team breakup, and the setup for a significant trios match on next week’s Dynamite.

In the main event, Kazuchika Okada successfully defended the AEW International Championship against Kevin Knight, retaining the title despite Knight’s legitimate claim as someone who had previously defeated Okada during the Continental Classic round robin tournament. The match lived up to its billing as one of the night’s most compelling bouts, with Okada ultimately proving why he remains one of the most dominant champions in the company.

The opening championship match saw Divine Dominion — Megan Bayne and Lena Kross — retain the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships against Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron in a rematch from Revolution. The result immediately triggered a significant development in the women’s division as Nightingale and Cameron agreed to part ways after the match in what appeared to be a mutual and respectful decision. Nightingale will focus on defending the TBS Championship going forward, while Cameron will pursue her own direction.

AEW Collision March 28 Sets Up Trios Match on Dynamite as Death Riders Pick Up a Win

The trios match picture for next week’s Dynamite was also advanced on Saturday. Mina Shirakawa teamed with The Brawling Birds — Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor — to defeat Niki XS, Aminah Belmont, and Haven Harris. Following the match, Thekla and the Sisters of Sin appeared to throw insults at Shirakawa and her partners, with Mina responding by challenging Triangle of Madness to a trios match on next week’s Dynamite — a match that AEW President Tony Khan has since made official.

Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia of the Death Riders picked up a submission victory over Private Party, while Tommaso Ciampa defeated Ace Austin in singles competition. Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis won their tag match against The Rascalz — Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz — though Fletcher was reported to have left the building in a walking boot following the match, raising injury concerns for the TNT Champion. Myron Reed, accompanied by The Rascalz, defeated Johnny TV in the night’s undercard.
