WWE NXT Revenge is a two-week event beginning April 14, and the card for both nights has taken significant shape following Tuesday’s NXT. Night One features two championship matches — NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo defends against Ethan Page, and new NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice immediately faces a rematch challenge from Jacy Jayne.
The D’Angelo vs. Page match was set up when the two were part of an eight-man tag team match against DarkState. Page pinned Saquon Shugars by pushing D’Angelo aside to steal the glory, prompting D’Angelo to lay him out with a Dead to Rights chokeslam afterward. Robert Stone made the title match official shortly after. The Vice vs. Jayne rematch was similarly set up when Jayne interrupted Vice’s championship celebration to demand another opportunity, with Stone granting the match on the spot.
Night One — April 14: NXT Championship: Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Ethan Page. NXT Women’s Championship: Lola Vice (c) vs. Jacy Jayne. Jaida Parker vs. Kelani Jordan. WWE Speed Tournament qualifier: EK Prosper vs. Dorian Van Dux. Joe Hendry concert to address his future following his title loss. Night Two — April 21: Last Woman Standing: Sol Ruca vs. Zaria. Men’s Speed Championship Tournament Finals to crown a new champion. Kali Armstrong debuts. Zaria set up the Last Woman Standing stipulation by spearing Ruca during her match against Izzi Dame on Tuesday, making clear their Stand & Deliver rivalry is far from finished.
