Liv Morgan throws up before most of her matches — and she has no interest in fixing it. Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Morgan gave one of the most candid pre-match routine descriptions of any active WWE performer, describing what fans would find if they tracked her down before a bout.
“If you found me right before my match? Throwing up in a garbage can. For real. Yeah, every match. Maybe four out of seven times I’ll be dry heaving or spinning or puking. It’s just anxiety. I think I have performance anxiety and nerves, but I know it’s coming from a place of love and care and wanting to do a great job. It’s not detrimental to me. I think I just care a lot,” she said.
The intensity has taken on new meaning since returning from her shoulder injury, which Morgan said deepened her appreciation for the career she already valued. “I feel blessed. I feel lucky. I feel like I’m living the life of my dreams. Especially more so now coming out of my injury. It almost makes me emotional because I’m grateful and happy and I feel like I don’t know what I did to earn this, but I will take it nonetheless.” She also described WWE as the source of virtually everything meaningful in her life. “WWE has given me everything good in my life. I’m just eternally grateful.”
