WWE and ESPN have announced a unique WrestleMania 42 week experience called WWEddings — five real weddings officiated by The Miz on April 16 in Las Vegas between 3 PM and 5 PM PT. Couples will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis and must register at tagteamforlife.com, secure a physical Nevada marriage license, and bring valid government-issued ID.
The experience includes photo opportunities with WWE title belts and superstar cutouts, plus an official wedding certificate. Couples not selected are still encouraged to attend. The Miz framed the event in characteristically grand terms. “WrestleMania is known for delivering moments that last a lifetime, and for the first time ever, fans can make their love story part of the spectacle as we celebrate the first-ever WrestleMania as part of the ESPN family.”
ESPN’s Senior Vice President of Marketing Jo Fox added, “At ESPN, we believe sports fandom is forever. For our first WrestleMania on the ESPN App, we wanted to give couples bound by their shared love of WWE a way to begin their next forever chapter by fully embracing everything they love together.” The timing coincides with WrestleMania 42 marking the debut of the Show of Shows on the ESPN App, making the WWEddings event a creative marketing extension of the historic broadcast partnership between WWE and ESPN.
