Drew McIntyre has confirmed his arrival in Las Vegas ahead of his Unsanctioned Match against Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania 42 — but getting there was not straightforward. The former WWE World Champion shared on Instagram that he had been in the UK taking care of business related to his role in the Highlander reboot, experiencing travel complications before finally making it to Las Vegas.
“I’m in Las Vegas. I got travel problems, but that’s okay. I was in the UK. Taking care of some business,” McIntyre wrote. Reports had indicated McIntyre was flying back and forth between the US and Scotland during the final days before WrestleMania 42 for his Highlander filming commitments. Despite the travel chaos, he is confirmed in Las Vegas and prepared for one of the most personal and physically unrestricted matches on the WrestleMania 42 Night One card against Fatu on April 18 at Allegiant Stadium.
