Pat McAfee Trolls Fans With Countdown Clock at WWE World

Pat McAfee built anticipation at WWE World with a countdown clock that had everyone speculating about a major announcement — only to troll the entire crowd when the timer hit zero by revealing the “surprise” was simply a live feed of The Pat McAfee Show. The crowd’s reaction was immediately and vocally negative, which McAfee embraced with full villain energy.

“Surprise, nerds! The surprise that you thought was maybe going to be your favorite wrestler of all time, maybe somebody from AEW was going to sign with WWE at WrestleMania, and you marks were gonna get zipper burn all over yourself. You’re going to be crying your ass off as you leave WrestleMania knowing that what was, what you all let happen, is over. Randy Orton is going to run this industry back to what it’s supposed to be out of your dumbass hands.” McAfee will be in Orton’s corner when he challenges Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship on WrestleMania 42 Night One on April 18 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
