WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan called her WrestleMania 42 entrance iconic, comparing it to a VMAs performance, in a new interview with Brad Gilmore on The Collection.
Morgan performed her original song “Trouble” live as part of her entrance before defeating Stephanie Vaquer to win the title at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
“I did pretty much a VMA entrance for my entrance for WrestleMania. I don’t think it’s ever been done before. Had the suit, ripped away the suit, gear reveal, my dancers were incredible. I feel like I won before the match even started. I knew it was iconic and that I was the first to do it and if anyone else does it, they are just copycats.”
Morgan has since dedicated her championship reign to Britney Spears, citing Spears as the creative inspiration for the entrance concept.
