MLW
Baron Corbin is believed to be either already signed by WWE or on the verge of signing, per Fightful Select, with the former world title contender currently finishing up commitments with MLW before making the move.
Sean Ross Sapp reported that sources in the industry believe Corbin is wrapping up his time as part of the Skyscrapers tag team alongside Donovan Dijak in MLW, where the two held the MLW World Tag Team Championships for 329 days. He also had one AEW appearance earlier in 2026.
Fightful’s report reads: “Those that we spoke to in the industry believe that he is either signed by WWE or will be imminently.”
Corbin, 41, was with WWE from 2012 until October 2024 when his contract was not renewed. During his run he won the United States Championship, the NXT Tag Team Championship alongside Bron Breakker, the 2019 King of the Ring and the 2017 Money in the Bank briefcase. He has spent his time away rebuilding under the Bishop Dyer name on the independent scene.
