Bryan Danielson Officially Moves From AEW Active Roster To Broadcast Team

Bryan Danielson has been officially moved from AEW’s active men’s roster to its broadcast team, with the promotion’s website updated to reflect his transition to commentary.

Danielson’s last match was at WrestleDream 2024 in October of that year, when he dropped the AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley. He stated at the time that would be the final match of his full-time career. Other than an eight-second dark match against Max Caster in June 2025, he has not competed since.

He has been a regular on AEW Dynamite commentary for several months. The roster page update formalises what had been apparent in practice for some time.
