Jacob Fatu has called his World Heavyweight Championship match against Roman Reigns at Clash in Italy an honor, saying being part of WWE’s first-ever Italian PLE against one of the greatest of all time is an experience he wouldn’t trade.
Speaking on ESPN SportsCenter, Fatu reflected on what the moment means beyond the storyline.
“You know what, if we could pull the curtain back just a little bit, besides everything else, it’s an honor and I wouldn’t have it no other way. Since I’ve been here in WWE, there have been a lot of first times that I’ve been a part of. For us to go, for the very first time, a PLE in Italy, against one of the greatest of all time, Roman Reigns, man, it doesn’t get much better than Clash in Italy.”
Fatu and Reigns meet in a Tribal Combat match at the Inalpi Arena in Turin on May 31. The loser must acknowledge the winner as Tribal Chief or be fired from WWE.
