Adam Copeland and Christian Cage will revive their iconic Five-Second Pose on AEW Dynamite, with Tony Khan announcing the segment on social media following their AEW World Tag Team Championship win at Double or Nothing.
Khan wrote: “For the benefit of those with flash photography, Rated R Cope and Christian will celebrate their unforgettable AEW Double or Nothing AEW World Tag Team Championship win with a Wednesday Night 5 Second Pose, tomorrow!”
Copeland and Cage defeated FTR in an I Quit Street Fight at Double or Nothing to win the titles — their first tag championship together in over 25 years, dating back to their WWF World Tag Team title win in 2000. The Five-Second Pose originated following that 2000 heel turn, with the pair posing with their titles for five seconds and allowing fans to take photos. The bit evolved into mocking poses that targeted the city they were performing in and became one of the most beloved comedy bits of the Attitude Era.
AEW Dynamite and Collision airs Wednesday at 8/7c on TBS and HBO Max.
