WWE SmackDown’s May 22 Numbers Look Better — But The Year-Over-Year Picture Is A Different Story

The May 22 episode of WWE SmackDown drew 1.258 million viewers on USA Network, up from 1.184 million the week prior, with the 18-49 demo rating recovering to 0.29 from 0.23, per Wrestlenomics. The show finished second on cable behind the NHL playoffs on ESPN.

The bounce-back follows two consecutive weeks of declines. SmackDown is averaging a 0.301 demo rating and 1.254 million viewers in 2026 compared to a 0.450 and 1.518 million average for the same period in 2025.
