‘It’s Only Up From Here’: Bayley’s Message To Chad Gable After His Biggest Loss In Years

Bayley has praised Chad Gable following his mask versus mask main event against Ludwig Kaiser at AAA Noche de Los Grandes, calling it magic made in front of the most pure and passionate fans in the world.

Gable — as Original El Grande Americano — lost the match to Kaiser on May 30, meaning he must give up the Americano gimmick. Bayley was in Mexico for the event and posted on Instagram afterward.

“It’s not everyday that you get to watch your friend create magic in front of the most pure and passionate fans in the world. I’m so proud to know you, Chad Gable. You take control of your opportunities and have always made everything count. It’s only up from here my dude.”

Gable himself posted a brief reflection on the moment: “What an atmosphere. What a crowd. What a moment. Thank you Mexico.”

Finn Balor called the match a masterpiece and said he had already watched it twice. “So good I already had to watch it twice. I encourage you also. Masterpiece.”

Bayley and Gable came up together in the same NXT era and have both been with WWE for over a decade. Bayley is part of a six-woman tag match when part two of Noche de Los Grandes airs on Saturday June 6.
