Winner Of WWE Men’s Royal Rumble Is…..

The “Tribal Chief” has reclaimed his spot at the head of the table. In a star-studded main event at the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Roman Reigns outlasted 29 other superstars to win the Men’s Royal Rumble match. Entering at number 26, Reigns survived a chaotic final sequence to eliminate Gunther and punch his ticket to a World Championship match at WrestleMania 42.

Roman Reigns Eliminates Gunther To Win

The match boiled down to a final four of Reigns, Gunther, Randy Orton, and Logan Paul. Reigns asserted his dominance by eliminating Paul, while Gunther tossed out Orton, setting up a massive showdown between two of the most dominant champions in history. After a tense back-and-forth, Reigns delivered a spear to “The Ring General” and threw him over the top rope to secure the victory.

Reigns’ path to victory included a significant family confrontation. Upon entering, he teased a reunion with Jey Uso before punching him, and later stared down the dangerous Jacob Fatu. Reigns and Jey briefly worked together to hit a 1D on Cody Rhodes, but loyalty only went so far, as Reigns eventually eliminated Jey to advance.

Drew McIntyre Costs Cody Rhodes; Brock Lesnar Returns

One of the biggest shocks of the night came at the expense of Cody Rhodes. “The American Nightmare” appeared poised for another Rumble victory but was thwarted by his bitter rival, Drew McIntyre. While Rhodes was precariously holding onto the top rope, McIntyre—who was not an entrant in the match—rushed down and hit a Claymore Kick to knock Rhodes off the apron and eliminate him, reigniting their feud.

The match also featured the monstrous return of Brock Lesnar at number 22. “The Beast Incarnate” took everyone to “Suplex City,” eliminating Ilja Dragunov, Rey Fenix, and the dominant Oba Femi. However, his night was cut short when the unlikely duo of LA Knight and Cody Rhodes teamed up to eliminate him.

Surprise Returns And Debuts: Rusev, Royce Keys, And LA Knight

The surprise entrants began early with Rusev returning at number 5, followed closely by Matt Cardona at number 6. However, both were quickly eliminated by the powerhouse Oba Femi. The match also saw the debut of “Royce Keys” (formerly Powerhouse Hobbs), who entered at number 14 and eliminated Damian Priest before succumbing to a triple team attack by The Vision (Austin Theory, Bronson Reed, and Logan Paul). LA Knight made his triumphant return at number 21, immediately seeking revenge on The Vision by tossing out Theory and Reed.

In a bizarre twist, Bron Breakker’s night was ruined before it began. As he made his entrance to start the match, a “masked man” attacked him and delivered a curb stomp—a move synonymous with Seth Rollins—before rolling him into the ring where he was easily clotheslined out by Oba Femi.
