Elio LeFleur has confirmed that his shoulder surgery was successful, sharing a photo from his hospital bed on social media alongside the message “Surgery was a success. See you soon.” The update provides welcome relief following his injury disclosure on the March 31 episode of WWE NXT, where LeFleur announced he would be out of action for approximately six months.
Due to the injury, LeFleur was forced to vacate the WWE Speed Championship — a title he had worked hard to establish during his NXT run. A tournament to determine a new champion began on Tuesday’s NXT, with the finals scheduled for Night Two of NXT Revenge on April 21. LeFleur’s most recent in-ring appearance came at a March 30 NXT live event where he teamed with EK Prosper, Kale Dixon, and Tavion Heights against Birthright. His road to recovery begins now with an expected return timeline of approximately six months.
