Rhea Ripley has retained the WWE Women’s Championship at WWE Clash in Italy, defeating Jade Cargill in Turin despite outside interference from Michin.
Cargill controlled the early portion of the match, working over Ripley’s lower back throughout. A missed elbow drop gave Ripley the opening she needed, and she avoided a spear before building momentum. A missile dropkick drew a pop from the crowd, and Ripley followed with a second off the top rope for a near fall. Cargill cut her down with a backdrop before Ripley responded with a head kick. Ripley then connected with a Razor’s Edge and a Shining Wizard for two.
Michin interfered from ringside in the closing stretch, but Ripley overcame it and put Cargill away with her finisher to retain.
The result extends Ripley’s second Women’s Championship reign, which began at WrestleMania 42 when she defeated Cargill to win the title.
